The 37-year-old Northshore Community Orchestra, formerly recognized as the Slidell Youth & Community Orchestra, is all set to grace the Slidell Auditorium on December 19th with its much-awaited annual holiday concert. This event holds a special place in the hearts of music enthusiasts as it showcases the harmonious blend of youth and adult talents. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., inviting the audience to settle in for a one-hour Thursday night musical journey. The concert commences precisely at 6 p.m., with seating being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring an inclusive experience for all.

Unique Symphony in St. Tammany Parish

The Northshore Community Orchestra stands out as the sole symphony orchestra in St. Tammany Parish, bringing together both young and seasoned musicians. While the majority of its members hail from Slidell, it also attracts talent from various other St. Tammany communities, the New Orleans area, and even south Mississippi.
